Serra da Estrela Natural Park

The Serra da Estrela Natural Park is the largest protected area in Portugal and is located in the central mountain massif, on a high plateau sloping northeast, deeply carved by the valleys of rivers and streams that originate here, such as the Mondego and the Zêzere.
